We've published our main Goodwood Festival of Speed 2009 blogs and galleries here – but we've come back with so many more snapshots and handycam video clips that we've pulled them altogether on this page. So here's a rag-bag mixture of amateur handiwork from our team of roving reporters. A 1959 Ferrari 250 GT LWB Berlinetta ‘Tour de France’ sold for £1.96 million as the star of R.M. Auction’s 2012 London sale. Star sale of the night in Battersea was a hugely desirable 1959 Ferrari 250 GT LWB Berlinetta ‘Tour de France’ by Carrozzeria Scaglietti which managed to reach £1.96 million (although a 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300SL Alloy Gullwing failed to sell at £2.4 million), but there were plenty of other lots reaching decent prices too.
London's Clerkenwell Design Week runs from May 21-23, serving as the United Kingdom's leading independent design festival. Jaguar is the primary sponsor this year and for the event, it challenged students at the Royal College of Art to create a joint exterior and interior form study which “expresses their vision of future Jaguar design language in either a sports or luxury context.”
Ewan Gallimore and Claire Miller won the contest with the F-type skeleton pictured, beating eight other teams. "We began the project by looking at light, specifically the way the light falls within the space at Clerkenwell," said Gallimore and Miller.
